Owning a flat screen TV doesn't really end there. You should learn how to maximize the uses of your newly purchased LCD TV. One way to do such is to mount your screen on the wall. It does not only provide the most favorable viewing but it also adds decor and elegance to your room.
Here are some things you need not forget if you are considering mounting your screen on the wall.

You can use moldings or wall plates to hide connectors or run it through the walls. Also, inform yourself on the right electrical codes and connection. Some say that power codes should not be run through the wall and must be installed through a receptacle behind the TV. It is good that the latest HDMI cable has a single cable for both HD video and audio outputs. If you intend to connect other devices to you television, be sure that you have added component connections as well. It is easier to consider it and do it the moment you will mount the TV. Experts only recommend that the center of the screen should be placed a little above your eye level viewing position for a more favorable home entertainment experience.
